Research

As a defense policy researcher, I've prioritized work that aims to reduce the risks of war and encourage more effective U.S. and allied defense and foreign policy decisions. Over the next year (2026), I plan to lead more research on mitigating catastrophic risks from advanced AI & biological threats. My research methodology is reading a lot, writing a little, and asking smart people (and now LLMs) to review my work.
